This artwork was part of the collection Janeen created after being inspired by her Residency at Hamelin reserve in June 2021 and celebrates the stunning seed pods from the Desert Kurrajong tree in a rich earthy andscape. After creating a landscape with acrylic ink washes for the background, Janeen overlayed the surface with fine detailed drawings of the desert kurrojong seeadpods using a nibbed pen and acrylic inks.
