WINTER WORKSHOPS
by the Sea
During the winter months when the weather is cooler (About May - July) Janeen offers
a wide range of Art Workshops which she runs from her Art Studio at Sunset Beach in
Geraldton, Western Australia.
With over 30 years of experience in the Visual Arts, Janeen looks forward to offering
you a relaxing day where you can indulge yourself, wind down, learn new
art techniques,meet like minded souls and enjoy some well
deserved creative time in a tranquil garden setting by the sea.

Minimum of 8 & maximum of 12 people required
for a Workshop to run. No Experience necessary.
Because Janeen has a busy Micro Art business, the
number of workshops she is able to run during the
winter months will depend on her business commitments.
​
Janeens workshops can book out quickly therefore
paid bookings are essential to hold your spot in a
workshop.Dates of upcoming Workshops will be
advertised nearer the time.

Recycled Wireworks
Saturday 11th May 2024
A range of techniques will be covered in this exciting
workshop where you will create assorted
artworks by recycling ,reusing, repurposing everyday objects
including sardine cans, aluminium cans, wire, buttons,
beads, shells to make stunning hangings.

Mini Lino printing with Botanicals
Saturday 18th May 2024
You will create mini botanical lino cuts
to print onto paper. Mono printing using pressed
Botanicals will be overlaid to create fabulous artworks.
Mark making and layer building techniques
will be included using fluid acrylic paints
and acrylic inks.

Mixed Media
on Plywood with Resin glaze
2 Workshops available
Saturday 25th May
or 1st June 2024
This is an exciting workshop. You will create
a mixed media artwork on paper using Acrylic paints
and Inks, markmaking and mono printing.
your artwork will be glued onto plywood, sealed then
coated with a layer of clear Epoxy resin.
Resin requires 24 hours drying time so your finished
Artwork can be collected the following day.

Painting with Botanicals
Saturday 8th June 2024
In this workshop you will create your own
stunning botanical painting on canvas to take
home ready to hang. You will learn mark making
and mono printing techniques and explore
fluid acrylic paints.
​
