Janeen's original paintings are inspired by Western Australia's stunning and diverse natural environment. Being surrounded by the Indian Ocean, magnificent coast line, the Moresby Ranges and beautiful native botanical's provides Janeen with endless creative possibilities. Acrylic and Gouache are Janeen's main mediums but she does enjoy playing with mixed media and printmaking. Her paintings are very organic and complex. By painting from observation and memory, layers are gradually built up with mono printing, mark making, blocking out, and over painting to create complex artworks which encourages one to look within.
